Our Story

5678 Performance Makeup was born out of necessity and love.

As a mom of a competitive dancer, I saw firsthand the pressure these young athletes are under to not only perform, but to look performance-ready through it all. My daughter was spending long hours under bright stage lights, sweating through routines, and needing constant touchups to keep her makeup from melting and rubbing off. We tried everything - luxury makeup, drugstore standbys, primers, setting sprays, and finishing powders, but nothing could keep up.

Even the high-end options couldn’t handle a full day of performance. And when I looked more closely at the drugstore brands, I was shocked. So many of them were filled with parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals, and even heavy metals. Many weren’t even cruelty-free.

It didn’t sit right with me that these incredible athletes were being underserved by products that just couldn’t keep up. That’s why I launched 5678 Performance Makeup: to deliver performance-grade makeup that can go the distance.
